Basketball is a regular part of our program and something many of our participants really enjoy. Sessions focus on getting involved, building confidence, and being part of a team environment. Whether it’s shooting hoops, playing games, or just having a go, everyone is encouraged to join in at their own pace.
We keep it relaxed and inclusive, with the focus on participation, social connection, and enjoying the activity together rather than structured training.

Centre Based Activities
Our centre-based days focus on building confidence and independence in a relaxed, small group setting.
Activities include cooking, yoga, games, music, and everyday life skills. The focus is on participation, routine, and creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and part of the group.
Community Access
Community Access Services
Our community access activities are designed to build confidence and help participants connect with the world around them through a range of engaging activities.
This includes using public transport with trips into Melbourne, as well as everyday activities like supermarket shopping and time in the community. We also incorporate nature walks and other outings to keep things varied.
These activities support independence, social connection, and confidence in different environments.
Respite Weekends at Olive Grove
We offer individual and small group respite weekends throughout the year, giving participants the chance to get out, try new things, and enjoy a change of routine.
Weekends are all about experiences — from trips to the beach to getting out and about in different places. It’s a chance to have fun, build confidence, and enjoy time away in a relaxed and supportive environment.
We keep groups small so everyone feels comfortable and included, with support throughout the weekend.
